Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive assessment of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders in the outpatient setting with patients from birth to early school age years with complex medical diagnoses
- Assessment and management of patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia in the Center for Airway Disorders and other multi-disciplinary medical clinics
- Performing instrumental assessment of swallowing, including Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
- Providing family education and case coordination
- Completing documentation related to feeding and swallowing assessment and treatment
- Working in close collaborationand partnership with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other health care professionals
- The opportunity to provide feeding therapy services with program expansion
Minimum Qualifications Education:- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Experience:- 1-3 years of directly related clinical experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders is required. Strong clinical fellows may be considered.
Licensure/Certification:- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA)
- A current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to work collaboratively with inter-professional teams in a fast-paced medical environment.
