Junior Accountant - Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Summary 

We are looking for a Junior Accountant who is intellectually curious and passionate 

about solving interesting problems to come join our growing Accounting team! This role 

is critical in our day-to-day accounting operations and you will have exposure to nearly 

all accounting activities. Reporting to our Senior Accounting Manager and partnering 

closely with our Controller, VP of Finance and other senior business stakeholders, you 

will play a key role in scaling our accounting and finance practices and help us lay the 

foundations for an eventual PCAOB readiness.

Tuesday to Saturday I 12am to 9am (Manila Time)

Will observe US Holidays 

Responsibilities 

• Manage sections of our month-end close activities, including 

• expense booking (AP, prepaid, accruals) 

• bank reconciliations 

• balance sheet account reconciliations (AP related accounts) 

• Manage bills within AP system, code and categorize expenses/invoices as on a daily basis 

• Manage issuance of virtual cards within AP system, code and categorize expenses on a daily basis 

• Ensure invoice/receipt compliance 

• Process employee reimbursements in AP system 

• Prepare bank/wire payments within bank portal 

• Prepare summary reports and perform reflux analysis for expense accounts 

• Assist in the annual audit process (AP related items) 

• Organize files for the finance and accounting team 

• Drive ongoing process improvements and new process implementations for financial operations 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business related major 

• Organized and detailed oriented 

• Proficient in Excel 

• Good communicator – reaches out when they have questions, takes good notes, and communicates status regularly 

• 2+ years of industry accounting experience, especially AP experience 

• Experience with NetSuite (required); experience with AP automation platforms (Ramp preferred, Airbase or similar also valuable) 

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress towards CPA (preferred)
