Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilledPlatform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building, scaling, and maintaining modern platform engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise incloud infrastructure, Kubernetes ecosystems, automation, CI/CD, observability tooling, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will work closely with development, DevOps, and SRE teams to create robust, secure, and efficient platforms that enable high developer productivity and reliable services.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Platform Development & Operations

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable platform components that support product engineering teams.
2. Implement automation to streamline infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
3. Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and service mesh environments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

1. Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools likeTerraform and Helm
2. Standardize cloud configurations and enforce infrastructure best practices.

Cloud & Containerization

1. Deploy and operate applications using public Cloud services mainlyAWS.Azure/GCP is added advantage
2. Handle container orchestration usingKubernetes (EKS).

CI/CD & Automation

1. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such asGitLab CI .Argo CD or FluxCD is added advantage.
2. Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

Monitoring, Observability & Reliability

1. Implement and manage observability stacks includingOpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Cloud-WatchPrometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
2. Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability.

Security & Compliance

1. Integrate security best practices into platform workflows (DevSecOps).
2. Implement policies, RBAC, secrets management, and compliance automation.

Collaboration & Support

1. Work closely with developers to resolve platform-related challenges.
2. Build reusable templates, documentation, and playbooks for internal teams.
3. Participate in an on-call rotation if required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 4-6 years of Hands-on experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps roles.
2. Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native tools.
3. Deep knowledge ofAWS services and architecture patterns.
4. Hands-on experience withTerraformor other IaC tools.
5. Proficiency inCI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
6. Strong knowledge of observability toolsets (Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry).
7. Proficient in scripting languages likePython,Bash, orGo.
8. Solid understanding of networking concepts, distributed systems, and microservice architecture.
9. Experience withversion control systems (Git) and GitOps workflows (good to have).

Preferred / Good to Have Skill:

1. Experience buildingInternal Developer Platforms or platform-as-a-product.
2. Knowledge ofservice mesh technologies (Istio).
3. Familiarity withCrossplane , or platform orchestration tools.
4. Experience with security tools (Vault, Trivy, AWS Inspector).
5. Experience in agile development environments.
6. General exposure toGenAI, LLM-based automation, or AI-enhanced DevOps practices

Minimum Qualifications 

1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science/Equivalent from a reputed institute.
2. 4-6 years of total industry experience working in large product teams.
3. Stronghands-on experience with Platform engineering tools and technologies
