To support the growth of our project business, we are looking for aTechnical Support Engineer & Business Developer (Project Business Channel)who will act as a key technical reference for smart shading and building automation projects.

This role bridges technology, project execution, and business development, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, integrated solutions.

How the role will develop: in the first year of the assignment, the primary focus will be on developing the project business: identifying and qualifying project opportunities, building relationships with investors, architects, general contractors, installers and system integrators, and driving early-stage specification of Somfy solutions. As the project pipeline grows, the role will progressively shift toward its core technical scope: specification, system design, commissioning, training and after-sales support. Technical credibility is the foundation of this role from day one; we are looking for a technically educated and capable engineer who can develop business, not a pure business development profile.

What You'll Do

During Your First Year

You will focus on creating and developing new project opportunities by:

• Identifying, qualifying, and developing projects in the residential, commercial, and hospitality segments
• Building strong relationships with investors, architects, engineering consultants, general contractors, installers, system integrators, and façade companies
• Driving early-stage specification of Somfy's motorized shading, control systems, and smart building solutions
• Supporting Project Business Developers throughout design, planning, and tender phases
• Recording project activities, market insights, and opportunities within CRM systems while contributing to business process improvements

As the project portfolio expands,you will become increasingly involved in technical delivery and consulting by:

• Preparing technical specifications for motorized shading systems, controls, and building automation solutions
• Designing system architectures, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using AutoCAD or similar tools
• Commissioning systems on-site, conducting testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification
• Delivering technical training sessions and sharing knowledge with partners, installers, and internal teams
• Acting as a technical expert for after-sales support and escalation management
• Advising clients and stakeholders on Building Management Systems and communication protocols, includingKNX, BACnet, Modbus, and RS485

• Technical degree inElectrical Engineering,Building Automation or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, system commissioning, or building automation
• Proven experience inconstruction or project-based environments
• Validelectrical certification SEP, as required by local regulations (nice to have)
• Experience working withinstallers, system integrators, engineering offices, or façade companies is a strong advantage
• Strong technical knowledge ofmotorized shading systems, automation, and control solutions
• Ability to preparetechnical documentation andsystem schematics
• Excellenttroubleshooting andanalytical skills
• Full professional fluency in Polish and communicative - level proficiency in English
• Readiness to travel up to30%of working time
