Manual QA Engineer - Middle

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Middle QA Engineer.

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer who will be responsible for testing new features and existing functionality, performing regression testing, identifying and documenting defects, and helping maintain a high level of product quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Test new features and updates for existing functionality

• Perform functional and non-functional testing

• Conduct regression testing

• Create and maintain test documentation, including checklists, test cases, bug reports, etc.

• Analyze automation test reports and help investigate failures

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure product quality

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, mainly in web-based projects

• Knowledge of software testing techniques and methodologies

• Understanding of modern web application architecture and workflows

• Experience in UI testing based on Figma mockups and troubleshooting using browser DevTools

• Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing

• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation, such as checklists and test cases

• English level: Intermediate+

• Proficiency in Russian, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Experience working with Git

• Basic knowledge of AI tools

• Knowledge of SEO basics
