We’re looking for a hands-onSenior Full-Stack Engineer who can architect, build, and scale high-performance applications that enable mission-critical factory workflows.

Why this role exists

Factory Thread is expanding across modules — production monitoring, digital workflows, quality management, and predictive operations. We need an engineer who can:

• Build powerful, scalable frontends and backends
• Own features end-to-end in a startup environment
• Work across cloud, on-prem deployments, and devops
• Mentor developers and strengthen engineering practices

What you will work on

Frontend Engineering

• Build responsive, high-performance applications usingReact and Next.js
• Implement dashboards used by operators, engineers, and plant managers
• Create internal tooling, configuration UIs, and admin consoles
• Optimize UX for real-time, data-heavy interfaces

Backend & Platform

• Develop scalable services usingNode.js + Fastify
• Design core APIs for data ingestion, workflows, user management, and analytics
• Implement secure authentication, RBAC, audit logs, and workflow logic
• Improve backend performance, caching, and reliability

Cloud, On-Prem & DevOps

• Deploy and manage systems onAzure
• Build production-readyon-prem deployments using Docker containers
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Implement observability using logs, metrics, and alerts

Engineering Ownership

• Participate in sprint planning, break down features, and drive execution
• Collaborate closely with product teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices

Who you are (ideal fit)

• 5–8 years of full-stack development experience
• Strong expertise withReact, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Experience building production-ready dashboards or real-time apps
• Proficient in building APIs withFastify (or similar high-performance Node frameworks)
• Hands-on experience withDocker and container-based deployment
• Comfort withAzure or similar cloud environments
• Startup mindset — ownership, speed, and autonomy

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial IoT systems
• Experience instrumenting analytics (Mixpanel, GA, etc.)
• Exposure to Flutter or mobile app development
