The Project Manager plays a vital role in keeping project activities on task. As a project manager, you will manage the entire project lifecycle, from defining business objectives and project plan to managing its successful execution and deployment—all while meeting strict deadlines and ensuring budgetary obligations. As an effective leader, you will coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan while overseeing quality control through the project’s duration.Â

Whatyou’ll doÂ
You will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget parameters, defining the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle. This specifically encompasses:Â
- Understanding the project deliverables and scope in the Statement of Work  Â
- Project scoping, estimating, planningÂ
- Develop, manage, and document (in the agreed format) all production schedules, milestones, projections, estimates, and budgets for customer-assigned projects  Â
- Client and client stakeholder management & acceptanceÂ
- Scope, schedule and change managementÂ
- Responsibility for project budget and financial success metricsÂ
- Serving as the customer’s first point of contact to manage expectations and communications, ensure that the customer is informed on the project status, and obtain customer approval and signoff on all major deliverablesÂ
- Manage the project team, including assigning individual project tasks, holding regular meetings to monitor progress, and ensuring all timesheets are completed on timeÂ
- Partnership with direct manager and Account Director on project escalationsÂ
- Status reporting (internal/external)Â
- Resource forecastingÂ
- Risk mitigationÂ
- Post-project reviewsÂ
What we look forÂ
- 3-5+ years’ experience as a project manager, enterprise commerce experience preferred either within an agency, systems integration consultancy or within an online/digital department of an established B2B or B2C companyÂ
- Experience with project management principles, processes, tools, and techniquesÂ
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall software development environments  Â
- Experience working in a fast-paced organization with competing project demands and running multiple projects simultaneouslyÂ
- Experience with issue and bug management systems such as the Atlassian suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and/or Microsoft Visual Studio (TFS)Â
- Experience working on project phases from strategy, user experience, design, build, test and deploymentÂ
- Experience working with nearshore / offshore teams Â
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skillsÂ
- Expertise in utilizing conflict resolution skills to lead staff and resolve issues with customers to ensure project goals and contractual agreements are met and customer requirements are fulfilledÂ
- The prudence to leverage project governance and escalation processes as needed to meet project KPIsÂ
- Strong problem solving skillsÂ
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Smartsheets and Microsoft ProjectÂ
