Head of SSP

We are looking for an experienced Head of SSP to lead and scale the supply-side business of SmartyAds. This role will be responsible for developing our own SSP and third-party platforms monetization strategy, expanding high-quality publisher supply, and ensuring strong demand alignment across the programmatic ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combinesdeep expertise in SSP operations, Google MCM, publisher monetization, and programmatic integrations, along with strong commercial skills and ownership ofP&L performance.
The Head of SSP will work closely withDSP, AdExchange, Product, and Operations teams to drive revenue growth, optimize inventory monetization, and expand supply partnerships across Web, Mobile, and especiallyCTV and Video (VAST)environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute thestrategic growth plan for the SmartyAds SSPand available third-party monetization platforms including Google MCM
- Own theP&L, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and margin optimization
- Leadpublisher acquisition and monetization strategy, including high-value publisher partnerships
- Build and scaleGoogle MCM partnerships, onboarding and managing child publishers
- Alignown SSP inventory with demand-side needs, ensuring optimal fill rate, yield, and traffic quality
- DriveCTV and Video (VAST) supply expansion, focusing on premium inventory integrations
- Manage and expandthird-party integrations, includingPrebid.js header bidding connections with external DSPs and exchanges
- Overseesupply quality management, including traffic validation, fraud prevention, and compliance
- Definepricing strategy, floor management, and yield optimization frameworks
- Serve as themain escalation point for strategic publisher and supply partners
- Lead negotiations and recovery of critical supply integrations
- Collaborate withProduct and Engineering teams on SSP roadmap improvements, integrations, and feature development
- Work closely withDSP teams to ensure supply-demand balance and maximize platform liquidity
- Trackprogrammatic ecosystem trends, including new monetization opportunities, formats, and regulatory changes
- Represent the company atindustry events, conferences, and partner meetings
- Provideregular performance reports and strategic insights to executive leadership
Hard Skills
- 3+ years of experience inAdTech / Programmatic Advertising, with strong SSP exposure
- Proven experience working withpublisher monetization and supply acquisition
- Deep expertise inGoogle MCM (Multiple Customer Management) and publisher onboarding
- Strong understanding ofSSP architecture, auction mechanics, and yield optimization
- Understanding ofVideo and CTV monetization, includingVAST integrations
- Strong understanding ofOpenRTB protocol and programmatic auction dynamics
- Experience working withpublishers across Web and Mobile App environments
- Strong knowledge oftraffic quality metrics, fraud prevention, and inventory validation
- Experience inP&L ownership and revenue management
- Experience working withBI tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems
- Solid understanding ofprivacy regulations and frameworks (GDPR, TCF, GPP, COPPA, CCPA)
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Hands-on experience withPrebid.js integrations and header bidding ecosystemswill be a plus
