We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented

Quality Specialist

to support the development and continuous improvement of our quality management system.

In this role, you will take ownership of key quality processes and work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization.

About the role

As a Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing Smartvatten's management systems while supporting our commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence. You will independently drive quality-related activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work with stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the company's Quality and Environmental Management System.

• Plan, coordinate, and participate in internal and external audits, document findings, and drive corrective and preventive actions to completion.

• Manage quality-related documentation and perform data analysis to support decision-making, compliance, and improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate and develop sustainability and ESG reporting processes.

• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure requirements and best practices are effectively integrated into daily operations.

• Identify improvement opportunities and manage quality-related development activities.

• Support the organization's continuous improvement initiatives and compliance efforts.

About the team

The Quality Specialist will be part of the Quality team within the People, Processes & Profit organization. The team and this role are based in Espoo.

To succeed in this role, you will need

• A relevant degree, such as Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Several years of experience in quality, environmental, or compliance-related roles.

• Experience working with management systems and audits (e.g., ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).

• The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive tasks to completion

• Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work.

• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work across different functions.

• Proficiency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

• Skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Sharepoint, ERP and CRM systems is an advantage.
