SQL Server DBA

We are looking for aSQL Server DBA to join our team and take responsibility for the administration, performance, availability, and ongoing support of SQL Server databases across production and non-production environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, monitor, and upgradeSQL Server databases across production and non-production environments.

• Ensure databases areavailable, reliable, secure, and performant, in line with agreed operational and service levels.

• PerformSQL Server troubleshooting, investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Monitor database performance and proactively identify areas foroptimization and improvement.

• Support database-related requests and collaborate with developers and technical teams to resolve application and database issues.

• Contribute todatabase and repository design, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

• Work closely with internal teams and third-party providers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of technical issues.

• Take ownership of assigned activities, follow established processes, and ensure tasks are delivered within agreed timelines.

• Proven professional experience as aSQL Server DBA or in a similar database administration role.

• Strong hands-on knowledge ofMicrosoft SQL Server administration, configuration, and maintenance.

• Solid experience withSQL Server-based troubleshooting, performance analysis, and issue resolution.

• Good knowledge ofSQL and PL/SQL.

• Understanding of database availability, reliability, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues independently.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with developers, infrastructure teams, and third-party providers.

• Experience withSQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is considered an advantage.

• Experience with database design, repositories, and enterprise production environments is a plus.
