Responsible for supporting and monitoring acclimatization activities to ensure plants develop properly and are ready for transfer to the next stage of production.
Job Description
- Monitor and maintain plants during the acclimatization process according to established procedures.
- Select plants that are ready to be transferred to pre-conditioning or estate areas.
- Monitor the movement of plants in and out of the acclimatization area.
- Support the preparation and availability of tools and materials required for acclimatization activities.
- Collect and maintain basic acclimatization and plant development data.
- Monitor rejected or discarded plants and support the disposal process.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the acclimatization area.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably in Agriculture, Agronomy, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience in plant production, nursery, or acclimatization activities is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented and able to monitor plant conditions carefully.
- Able to follow standard operating procedures.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a nursery/greenhouse environment.
- Responsible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
