BasedinManchesterorShrewsbury,therolewillfocusprimarilyonrenewables,infrastructureandresidentialdevelopment,withadditionalexposuretocommercialschemesandoccasionalUK‑wideprojectwork.

TheRole

You’llleadandsupportthedeliveryofecologicalprojectsfrominitialappraisalthroughtodetailedreportingandlicensing,workingcloselywithclientsandmultidisciplinaryteams.Theroleincludes:

• Managingecologicalprojects,includingresourceplanning,financialoversightandclientcommunication

• Producingandoverseeingecologicalappraisals,EIAs,HRAs,licenceapplicationsandEPSlicences

• Mentoringandsupportingjuniorecologists

• Carryingoutecologicalsurveyswhererequired,andensuringsurveyqualityacrosstheteam

• Assistingwithfeeproposalsandcontributingtobusinessdevelopmentactivity

You’llcollaboratewithcolleaguesacrossEcology,Environmental&EarthSciences,Planning,ESIA,Landscape,ArboricultureandEngineering,withopportunitiesforcross‑regionalandcross‑disciplineprojectexposure.
