Department Overview:Â
The Group AI team owns Sky’s enterprise‑wide AI ambition,strategy and roadmap to deliver meaningful business value. The team works closely with senior stakeholders to embed AI into the fabric of how Skyoperates, manages key external AIpartnerships and ensures alignment with Comcast/NBCU.Â
The Role:Â
TheDirector Group AI, Partnerships & EngagementleadsSky’s approachtodrivingresponsible AIadoption andbuilding confidence in AI across the business. Working closely withourPeople and Corporate Affairs teams,the role provides AI subject matterexpertise that supports internal engagement and informs Sky's external communications, helping position Sky as a leader in the practical and responsible application of AI. The role also leads Sky's strategic relationships across the AI ecosystem to maximise business value and accelerate adoption.Â
Whatyou’ll do:Â
Own the integrated AI engagement strategyacross internal adoption, leadershipengagement and AI capability-building, providing subject matterexpertise to inform external communications and engagement led by Corporate Affairs.Â

Internal Engagement & NetworksÂ
Champion a culture where colleagues are confident,curious and equipped to use AI in their everyday work.Â
Lead engagement initiatives that accelerate AI adoptionat all levelsacross Skyincludingactivities likehackathons, AI awards, reverse mentoring, etc.Â
Equip senior leaders withAI use cases, practical examples and supporting materials that enable them to role-model AI adoption across their teams.Â
Strengthen our AI Advocates networkto play a key role ineducating colleagues on the responsible use of AI, new tools and capabilities, sharing best practices andproviding feedback to shape future engagement.Â
Closely partner withtheLearning & Developmentteamon the Better with AI programme, advising as subject-matter expert on AI content and enablement.Â
Workcloselywiththe Internal Comms team to create compelling AI contentfor internal eventsforall staff and leadership.Â
Define and track engagement metrics, using colleague feedback, adoptiondata and external insight to continually improve activity and impact.Â

External AIExpertise & Corporate Affairs PartnershipÂ
Act as the AI subject matter expert for the Corporate Affairs team, providing technicalexpertise and strategic insight to inform Sky's external communications, policypositions and executive engagement on AI across our entertainment, sports,news and technology businesses.Â
Provide AIexpertise, evidence, customer examples and use cases to support Corporate Affairs in developing executive messaging, thought leadership and external communications on AI.Â
Provide AI subject matterexpertise to support Corporate Affairs' engagement with government,regulators and policymakers on AI-related issues.Â
Advise Corporate Affairs on relevant AI industry events, speaking opportunities and external forums where Sky's AIexpertise can support broader corporateobjectives.Â
Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Employer Brandteamsto position Sky as a destination for people who want to apply AI to real customer,content and business challenges.Â
AIEcosystemÂ
Build and manage Sky’s relationships across the AI ecosystem includinghyperscalers, model providers, investors, start-ups, scale-ups and thought leaders to maximise strategic value for Sky.Â
Shape Sky’s approach to existing and potential partners, ensuring engagement is purposeful, joined up and aligned to our AI priorities.Â
Bring together Sky’s markets and the wider Comcast/NBCU group to align on priority AI opportunities, sharelearning and turn collaboration into measurable impact.Â
Leadership & InfluenceÂ
Collaborate with senior leaders across Sky and external partners.Â
Build and leadahigh‑performing team that thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.Â
Minimum Requirements:Â
Significant experience leading AI engagement, AI adoption programmes, technology-enabled organisational change, or enterprise-wide AI-related stakeholder engagement within a complex organisation. Experience working closely with Corporate Affairs, Communications or Public Affairs teams would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of the evolving AI landscape, including major technology players, model providers, start-ups, scale-ups,investors and emerging industry trends.Â
Proven ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear, accessible content and supporting materials for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.Â
Proven ability to build senior relationships and orchestrate collaboration across internal teams, externalpartners and multiple markets to turn insight into measurable impact.Â
Experience using data,insight and feedback to measure engagement impact, improveactivity anddemonstrate progress against outcomes.Â
