Senior Test Engineer / Manager

Skeleton is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Test Engineer / Manager to join our Advanced Engineering team.Â

Would you like to play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of our products? We are now looking for a Senior Test Engineer / Manager to take ownership of testing strategy, execution, and continuous development across multiple testing domains, including EOL, EMC, vibration, and destructive testing.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for products and systemsÂ
- Drive implementation of qualification programs (DV, PV) for customer and R&D projectsÂ
- Plan, execute, and oversee testing activities across EOL, EMC, vibration, and destructive testingÂ
- Ensure test coverage, reliability, and alignment with product requirementsÂ
- Contribute to test method development and validationÂ
- Analyse test data and provide root cause analysis for failuresÂ
- Design and implement testing frameworks, tools, and methodologiesÂ
- Develop and improve testing processes, documentation, and reporting practicesÂ
- Ensure safe operations in the testing laboratory in line with safety standardsÂ
- Support certification processes and compliance with industry standardsÂ
- Act as a technical lead and mentor for Test Engineers and TechniciansÂ
- Coordinate testing activities across different testing areas and teamsÂ
- Support resource planning and prioritization of testing workÂ
- Work closely with R&D, product development, quality, and production teamsÂ
- Provide feedback from testing to support product improvementsÂ
- Educational background in engineering (e.g. electrical, mechanical, or automation)Â
- Strong experience in product testing, validation, and failure analysisÂ
- Experience in one or more testing domains (e.g. EMC, vibration, EOL, destructive testing)Â
- Several years of relevant experience in testing or product validation rolesÂ
- Understanding of testing standards and certification processesÂ
- Ability to analyse complex technical data and drive conclusionsÂ
- Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset
- Good communication skills in English and Finnish
