Skeleton is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Field Service Engineer / Manager to join our Advanced Engineering team in Lappeenranta.Â

Would you like to play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products and customer satisfaction while also developing our field service operations? We are now looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer / Manager to take ownership of complex fault analysis, repairs, testing, and to drive continuous improvement of our service processes.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- On-site work at customer locations: advanced fault analysis, repairs, and system-level testingÂ
- Analysis and repair of returned products at your own workstation in LappeenrantaÂ
- Taking ownership of the most complex technical issues and root cause analysisÂ
- Supporting customers in optimizing product performance and resolving critical casesÂ
- Developing and maintaining working methods at service workstationsÂ
- Driving continuous improvement of service processes, tools, and documentationÂ
- Receiving fault reports and documenting findings (e.g. 8D reports)Â
- Establishing, maintaining, and analysing the field failure registerÂ
- Feeding back field data to R&D and product development teamsÂ
- Acting as a technical lead and mentor for other Service EngineersÂ
- Supporting resource planning and coordination of service activitiesÂ
- Driving best practices across field service operationsÂ
- Providing remote support to customers when neededÂ
- Acting as a key technical contact for demanding customer casesÂ
- Participating in other tasks such as urgent testing cases or handling returns
- Educational background in electrical engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.), automation engineering also applicableÂ
- Strong experience in testing, fault analysis, and repair of electrical devicesÂ
- Several years of relevant experience in field service or technical supportÂ
- Fluent English and Finnish language skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently and take ownershipÂ
- Strong customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Experience in guiding others or coordinating work is an advantageÂ
- Willingness to travel abroad
