About Ministry BrandsÂ
Our purpose is to help organisations make a positive impact on the world. We build software used by over 90,000 organisations globally — covering people management, digital giving, communications, event planning, and more. It's a broad and genuinely interesting problem space, and we've been at it for over 40 years.Â
Our Galway office opened in May 2023 as our international R&D hub, bringing together a cross-functional team of over 40 people across engineering, product, UX, and HR. We have ambitious growth plans, and as an early member of the Galway team, you'll have real influence on how we grow. If you want to work at real scale on software that matters, we'd love to talk.Â
About the RoleÂ
We're looking for a talented senior full stack developer to join our growing engineering team. You'll be working on Amplify, our core platform that brings together our suite of products in one unified experience — a technically interesting challenge at real scale.Â
You'll lead technical initiatives, work across a broad range of third-party integrations, and raise the bar on the quality and craft of everything we ship. We move fast, hold high standards, and care deeply about building things well. Whether you're a strong mid-level engineer ready for the next step or an experienced senior, if you're driven and talented, we want to hear from you.Â
What You'll DoÂ
Lead and deliver technical initiatives end-to-end, from design to productionÂ
Drive technical excellence across the team — code quality, architecture, and best practicesÂ
Build and maintain robust features across the full stack (backend APIs, frontend UI)Â
Build features within Amplify that connect and surface functionality from across our wider product suiteÂ
Collaborate closely with product and design to ship high-quality softwareÂ
Mentor other engineers and contribute to a strong engineering cultureÂ
Participate in architecture discussions and help shape technical directionÂ
What You BringÂ
Solid full stack development experience with a strong grasp of modern practicesÂ
Strong PHP skills, ideally with Laravel experienceÂ
Experience with a modern frontend framework — React preferred, but Vue, Angular, or similar is fineÂ
Experience with relational databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructureÂ
Experience working within large-scale SaaS platformsÂ
A track record of owning features and delivering to a high standardÂ
Clear communication and the ability to work well in a collaborative teamÂ
What’s in it for youÂ
Hybrid working model (Galway office and remote flexibility).Â
25 days annual leave + public holidays.Â
100% employer-paid private health insurance (including dependents).Â
Employer-matched pension scheme.Â
Income protection and life assurance coverage.Â
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and wellness initiatives.Â
Career development through mentorship, certifications, and professional training.Â
