Weare now looking for a Project Managerto our R&Doffice in Stockholm. You will be part ofthe Multichannel Productsdepartment (MCP), focusing onthedevelopmentofinfirst handnewnetwork videoproducts,but thescopeof the projects maybroaden aswegrow. 

Who isyourfuture team? 

TheMultichannel Productsdepartment is partof theExtended Video Productsorganizationwithin R&D, anddevelopsnew videoproducts fromidea tomassproduction. 

You will be part of a team of three project managers in Stockholm and have fivemorecolleaguesin Lund.In the projectsyouwill workclose with engineers inroles such assoftware engineers, electronic engineers, mechanical engineers, technicalleads andimagingengineers. Other crucial membersin our product development projects are industrial leads, production test engineers, sourcingengineers and quality engineers. 

Our goal is to run highly efficient product development projects and delivertop-quality products that strengthen Axis' market-leading position. 

Whatyou'll dohere as Project Manager 

You will lead product development projects ranging all the way fromidea, through conceptual design, execution phase,industrialization and finally handover to volume production. You will typicallyruntwo to three projects in parallel, with daily responsibilities such as: 

• Workwith the ProductOwner torefineproductideas andrequirements 

• Handleday-to-dayproject managementactivitiessuch as planning, riskmitigation andfollowingup onproject progress 

• Lead andmotivate theproject teamtowardssuccessfulgoalcompletion 

• Actively look for solutions,includingtechnicalones,and drive decisionmaking 

• Identifysynergies andmanagedependenciesacrossprojects 

• Setambitiousyetrealisticschedulesand support the team inreachingthem 

• Advocate foryourproject andworkpersistentlytowardstollgate deadlines 

• Contributewithideas onhowwecanimproveourwayofworking

Whoareyou? 

Youhave a genuineinterest inproductdevelopmentacross the fullcycle – fromrefiningideasintorequirementspecifications, togetting all thedetails inplace formassproductionof the finalproduct. 

At agrowing site, youarecomfortablewhenthingsare notyetfullydefined.Youtakeresponsibility forcreatingclarity foryourproject team and,togetherwithyour colleagues,helpbuildwell-functioningoperations. The role is highlycollaborative.Youcommunicateclearlywith awiderangeofcolleagues andstakeholdersinside andoutside theorganization, andyouactivelycontribute to agood team spirit. 

Weseethat youhaveexperience ofleading product development projects involving a mix of software,electronics and mechanics.You have an engineering degree inrelevant field.Experiencefromindustrialization andhand-over tovolumeproduction is a plus.  

Professional workingproficiency in Swedish and English, spoken and written, isrequired for this role.
