Position Summary :

ICF seeks a Renewable Energy Engineer to support implementation, monitoring, and reporting of renewable energy programmes in Bihar, including PM Surya Ghar and PM-KUSUM initiatives.

Job Description:

Monitor progress of renewable energy programme implementation.

Coordinate with BREDA, NBPDCL, SBPDCL, and implementing agencies.

Support project tracking, inspections, and commissioning activities.

Maintain programme MIS and reporting systems.

Assist in dashboard development and analytics.

Conduct field visits and implementation reviews.

Support vendor monitoring and stakeholder engagement.

Prepare technical reports and programme updates.

Participate in training and awareness programs.

Support impact assessment and evaluation activities.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy sector; Experience in at least one renewable energy project

Working Relationships :

Work closely with client, internal PMU colleagues and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor or technology stakeholders.

Maintain role-specific work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars and supporting records.

Produce clear, accurate and decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal and stakeholder information confidentially and follow approved access and information-security requirements.

Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment.

Working Relationships :
