Summary:The School Age Care (SAC) Site Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, management, and direction for EmBe's School Age Care programs at an assigned site. Primary responsibilities include oversight of daily operations, staff leadership and development, program quality, licensing compliance, family engagement, and community partnerships. The Site Coordinator ensures a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children while supporting EmBe's mission, vision, and values.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ensure EmBe's brand, mission, vision, and values are reflected in all interactions with children, families, staff, school personnel, and community partners.
- Reinforce and lead a culture of empowerment, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and personal responsibility in all aspects of the role.
- Oversee the daily operation of the assigned School Age Care site, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all participants.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and support site staff to provide high-quality programming and exceptional customer service.
- Ensure implementation of School Age Care curriculum, enrichment activities, and youth development programming that support learning, recreation, skill development, and social-emotional growth.
- Support the delivery of EmBe's School Age Care programs, which offer a safe, fun way for children to spend time before school, after school, and during the summer. Create an environment that facilitates learning and recreation while helping children develop friendships, confidence, and new skills through unique learning opportunities and hands-on involvement.
- Ensure before-school programming provides opportunities for students to receive homework help, socialize with peers, eat breakfast, and participate in recreation activities.
- Ensure after-school programming includes engaging experiences such as art projects, gym games, clubs and group activities, community service projects, STEM activities, reading and homework help, and social time.
- Foster positive relationships with children and create an environment that promotes belonging, respect, independence, and personal growth.
- Ensure consistent application of all EmBe policies, procedures, and childcare licensing regulations.
- Implement and maintain emergency procedures, including fire, weather, lockdown, and evacuation protocols. Conduct required drills and maintain compliance documentation.
- Report and address conditions that create unsafe situations for children, families, staff, or facilities.
- Monitor program quality and support staff in creating engaging and developmentally appropriate experiences for participants.
- Partner with other Site Coordinators and program leadership to share best practices and ensure consistency across School Age Care locations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with principals, teachers, school staff, and facility personnel at partner sites.
- Conduct tours for prospective families and serve as an ambassador for EmBe programs, promoting enrollment and retention.
- Guide families through the enrollment process and annual registration requirements, ensuring all participant records are accurate, current, and complete.
- Address parent questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely, professional, and solution-focused manner.
- Contribute to parent newsletters and prepare site communications as needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance, incident, licensing, and participant records as required by organizational and state regulations.
- Support inventory management and communicate site supply, facility, and program needs to leadership.
- Maintain active involvement in EmBe activities as they relate to the broader organization, including staff development, fundraising events, special programs, and community engagement opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- College degree in Elementary Education, Child Development Certificate, or related field preferred
- Previous management/teaching experience in an SAC setting or similar experience with school age children
- Strong organizational skills/ good details to oversee teachers and kids
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be a professional, self-motivated, and self-directed individual
- Computer skills and knowledge in Word, Excel desired
- Broad knowledge of community child care programs desired
- No felony conviction on record within the past five years.
