Technical Application Specialist

Sika Hellas S.A. is seeking aTechnical Application Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper preparation, installation, and application of the company's construction systems and materials at customer sites, ensuring high-quality execution, compliance with technical standards, and customer satisfaction. The role also involves demonstrating applications and training customers, contractors, architects, and engineers, while acting in line with Sika's Values & Principles.

Role Description :

• Apply company systems and materials (e.g. flooring, waterproofing, roofing, concrete solutions) according to technical specifications and guidelines, ensuring correct surface preparation, mixing, handling, and installation
• Prepare product samples and deliver application trainings to third parties (customers, contractors, applicators)
• Participate in Sika trainings in Greece and abroad to obtain, maintain, and upgrade technical application expertise (train-the-trainer system)
• Monitor application quality, ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements, and perform on-site adjustments for optimal product performance
• Identify and report any issues arising during application (defects, environmental factors, etc.)
• Provide on-site technical support and basic guidance to customers, contractors, and site teams, working closely with Sales and Technical Service for troubleshooting
• Follow all health & safety (EHS) regulations, use appropriate PPE, and ensure safe handling of materials and tools
• Operate and maintain application equipment, ensure proper storage and use of materials, and monitor material consumption, reporting any deviations
• Collaborate with Technical Consultants, Technical Sales, Specifiers, Sales Engineers, R&D, and Operations teams, providing site feedback and reporting on application results and project progress

• Technical school diploma (construction, mechanical, or related field)
• At least 3–5 years of experience in construction site work or a similar position (preferred)
• Previous experience in the application of construction materials will be considered an advantage
• Fluency in English (C2 level)
• Hands-on, practical technical skills with strong attention to detail and quality orientation
• Ability to work on-site under demanding conditions
• Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of construction materials and systems
• Willingness to travel for site work and flexibility to work across different projects and locations
