Shop Hand

Responsibility Summary:

Assist in the day-to-day functions of the manufacturing floor. Functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Unloading Trucks
• Emptying chip barrels
• Deburring of parts
• Sandblasting
• Moving & organizing raw material
• Operating machines
• Maintaining fluids in machines

Minimum Skill Required

• Must be able to lift 85 pounds 
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have at east 2 years of solid working experience 
• Must be able to work 8+ hours per shift
• Must be able to work full time and have great attendance
• Must posses the basic mechanical ability 
• Must possess a courteous and positive attitude as well as have a sense of urgency, drive, pride and desire to succeed 
• Should be safety and quality minded, detail oriented and have basic match and computer skills 
• Should be able to read and take direction in English 
• Forklift experience is preferred-responsible for operating a forklift to load/unload materials from trucks
