Customer Development Manager- Grocery

Job Description:

*£55-60K + 12% Bonus + other benefits*  

*Two roles- 1 x Perm + 1 6 Month FTC*

We are looking for a Customer Development Manager to join our Grocery Sales team. This associate will be at the heart of driving growth with some of our biggest customers and will lead a range of internal and external responsibilities as a core part of the cross-functional team.

• You’llhave strong communications and interpersonal skills, being able to develop relationships with both Customers and our x-functional team.  

• You’ll be a solution focused customer partner – working directly with customers to offer advanced solutions around product, placement, promotion, and pricing.  

• You’ll be a trusted partner to your customers providing strong category leadership, and salesexpertise. 

• You’ll have some experience in management of budget as well as trade revenue optimization delivering against budget and ROI.  

• You'll have strong financial acumen and be comfortablereviewing a P&L.  

What would be your key responsibilities?  

• Alongside the Senior CDM, you will be creating a partnership with our customers to deliver profitable sales and category growth across the Pet Nutrition portfolio of brands.  

• You’ll effectively manage and balancing our P&L, and seamlessly communicating to relevant stakeholders.  

• You’ll create exemplary customer plans that deliver impact and value. 

• You’ll develop strong customer relationships at Head Office level whereyou’ll be able to influence in adoption of solutions (including sales revenue, customer profitability, category growth, categoryleadership and new product launches).  

• You’ll be a trusted insights partner with the customer, providingaccurate andtimely forecasting and trade revenue optimisation.
