ÂTeam Structure
Ourtotal team size is over 200 people:
The development team is distributed globallyand organized intocross-functional product teams. These teams typically consist of 8–12 members, including front-end and back-end developers, QA specialists, and analysts.
Each team is led by a Team Lead and a Product Owner, ensuring effective collaboration and clear direction.
Meanwhile, our CEO, account managers, and customer success team are based in the USA, working closely with us to align product development with business and user needs.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain backend services and APIs used across the Sweed platform.
Work with C# / .NET, relational databases, queues, caching, and integrations.
Improve performance, reliability, observability, and maintainability of production systems.
Contribute to the evolution of our architecture, including microservices and parts of the existing monolith.
Own technical solutions from design to production, together with product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and other backend engineers.
Use AI tools where they help you move faster, understand context, and maintain quality.
What You’ll Be Working On
Depending on the team and product area, you may work on:
internal and external APIs;
eCommerce, checkout, order management, payments, inventory, or reporting flows;
performance and latency improvements in critical customer journeys;
service refactoring, technical debt reduction, and monolith decomposition;
asynchronous communication, background processing, queues, and caching;
observability, troubleshooting, and production reliability.

ÂWhat We’re Looking For
Strong commercial backend experience with C# and .NET.
Experience building and supporting production systems.
Good understanding of backend architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
Experience with microservices, queues, caching, async processing, or background jobs.
Ability to troubleshoot production and performance issues.
Ownership mindset: you can clarify requirements, make technical decisions, and drive solutions to production.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
English level sufficient for written communication and occasional calls.
Experience using AI tools in software development workflows.
Nice to Have
Experience with high-load systems.
Experience in eCommerce, payments, checkout, order management, inventory, or reporting.
Experience decomposing monoliths or improving legacy systems.
Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, or monitoring.
Experience working in product companies or startup-like environments.
Working Style
Two-week sprint cycles.
Regular technical discussions, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
Cross-functional collaboration with product, QA, frontend, analytics, and DevOps.
Remote-first setup with flexible working hours.
The team also has a rotating weekly support duty approximately once every two months. During these weeks, engineers help investigate and route technical issues during normal working hours. This is not an on-call rotation.
