Executive summary of the role:
As Sales Consultant Obesity you are responsible for driving business as a true leader and entrepreneur. You identify the needs and create the demand from the clinical stakeholders. You will turn the stakeholders into promotors of our products and company, with a special focus in the product portfolios of Endocutters, Mechanical stapling and Energy devices. You will work closely together with the Oncology sales team, Sales Manager and the (Strategic) Account Manager to ensure an optimal resource allocation and the highest impact of his work.
Main responsibilities/expected results/objectives of the role
Acquisition of new customers
Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders to turn them into strong promoters of our products and our company
Identify the needs of the customer
Define specific projects within Value Based Selling and use the broad value proposition of Obesity as part of the overall account plan that will lead to customer acquisition
Analyze and integrate (market) information to define business potential and determine the right segmentation & targeting strategy Â
Collaborate with internal stakeholders like the Sales Manager, your fellow Sales Consultants, Project Specialist, Product managers & (Strategic) Account Manager to enforce the final sale of specialty products and services
Facilitate congresses, user meetings and events that improve the understanding of our offer
Management of existing customers
Provide customer-focused service in order to develop customer relationships
Apply Healthcare Compliance regulations
Provide training courses to surgeons, specialists, nurses and operating theater management
Communicate with excellence with customers in the event of complaints, problems or backorders
Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing and (Strategic) Account Managers and contribute to the Account Plan to enforce the final sale of J&J products and services
Provide excellent service to our customers by flawless backorder management, innovation presentations and added value projects
Continuously looking for new opportunities to co-create with your customers in order to grow business
Maintain long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons and operating theater management to make/keep them promoters of our products and our company

Qualifications
➢ Required:
Bachelor degree medical, para medical, business or comparable
Proven track record and demonstrated capabilities in a sales position
Proven ability to manage complexity & thrives in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances
Ability to connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
Strong passion and track record for business accomplishments & will to make things happen & deliver
Strong communication skills & influencing skills
Driven by results performance & excellence in the job
Demonstrated business success in delivering growth and gaining share
Strongly involved in strategic and tactical work daily, requiring being able to quickly zoom in and out
Ability to build respect and trust with customers, employees and internal stakeholders
Self- awareness, adaptability and stress resistant
Living in the southern Netherlands region (preferably central Brabant)
➢ Preferred:
Master’s degree or >1 years relevant working experience
Experience in Endocutters/Energy devices sales and related processes
Knowledge of the current market healthcare landscape
Knowledge of languages: Dutch, English. Working Relationships (Key Internal & External Stakeholders)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€40,000.00 - €64,055.00Â

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
