Job Description:
This position requires a PL/I, IMDB & DB2 Developer with specific knowledge of Health Insurance, along with experience in Mainframe technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting health applications using these technologies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Mainframe technologies such as PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, etc.
• Develop a strong understanding of Health Insurance (excluding Group Health Insurance).
• Design, develop, and support health applications using Mainframe technologies.
• Provide both development and production support.
• Work with SAS, REXX, JCL, and Sort.
• Debug using IDB IDZ.
• Deploy code using GIT.
• Operate within an Agile environment.
• Coordinate activities between Product Owners and Business Units to resolve open action items.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, and SORT with at least 10 years of experience.
• Extensive experience in Health Insurance Applications development and support.
• Proficiency in COBOL, SAS, REXX, VSAM, and other Mainframe Technologies.
• Knowledge of Webservices, REST API, JSON, and Message Queues (MQ).
• Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Familiarity with git, CICD, and Pipeline processes.
• AWS cloud awareness and AI capabilities are a plus.
