We are looking for adetail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Corporate Accounting Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible forRecord-to-Report (R2R) General Ledger Accounting, ensuring full compliance withUS GAAP and supporting the preparation offinancial reports,audits, and continuousprocess improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting, with a keen understanding ofCompensation and Benefit accounting being a significant plus.

What you get to do in this role:

• Ensuring accurate, timely accounting and reporting of compensation and benefit expenses as perUS GAAP.
• Collaborate withcross functional teams (HR, payroll operations, tax, FP&A, financial reporting team and legal) to ensure accurate recording and reporting of accounting transactions and reconciliation.
• Stay up to date oncompensation and benefit regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist with theaudits, responding toinquiries, and providing documentation as required.
• Manage all aspects ofcompensationandbenefit accounting, includingPTO,pension,insurance, andotheremployeebenefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws.
• Drive close optimization and assist withmonth-end,quarter-end, andyear-endclosing.
• Continuously identify opportunities forprocessimprovements andautomation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in compensation and benefit accounting process.
• Preparejournalentries for themonthlyclose process and participate in month-end close by performing a variety of accounting tasks.
• Preparation ofbalancesheetreconciliations.
• Performvariance/fluxanalysis of financial statement.
• Ensurecompliance withCompanyaccountingpolicies and the application of generally acceptable accounting principles.
• Draftingaccountingpolicy and working to review and updatethresholdanalysis
• Understanding of the overall process and function incorporate accounting
• complexity ofhandlingglobalprocesses and ensuring continuity
• Problemsolving attitude and managing avariety ofsituations where limited procedures currently exist.

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an accounting centre of excellence for a US MNC managing close APAC, EMEA and US regions
• CA, CPA, CMA, and bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Knowledge ofemployee benefits and payroll accounting would be an added advantage for this opportunity.
• Strong organizational skills anddetail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Experience in leveraging orcritical thinking about how to integrateAI into work processes,decision-making,or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analysing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• Greatinterpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability tomultitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Ability to work effectivelyacross time zones/geographies with key stakeholders. Experience working in amatrix organization would be an advantage.
• A working knowledge ofSAP is a must.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to question, execute, andproactively follow up
• Excellentcommunication skills – verbal and written.
• Ability to workindependently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especiallyExcel.
