Internal Recruiter-Maternity Cover

Are you passionate about people and ready to play a vital role in shaping our growing team? We’re looking for someone who is looking at getting in to recruitment having spent previous time in early years gives you that ideal knowledge to become an Internal Recruiter at Hopscotch Day Nurseries. This role is aMaternity Cover starting November 2026.

🧩 What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting all recruitment activities in line with business needs and growth

• Supporting the full recruitment cycle—from job posting to onboarding and pre-employment checks

• Attending careers fairs and recruitment events to attract top talent

• Supporting Nursery Managers with interviews and recruitment processes

• Ensuring compliance with Safer Recruitment policies

• Maintaining and updating our recruitment page and job adverts online

• Conducting competitor analysis on salary bandings and benefits

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Advertise vacancies via Indeed, HDN Website, and Facebook

• Screen CVs using HR-supplied criteria and conduct initial telephone vetting

• Use Team Tailor for communication and onboarding coordination

• Propose and implement new recruitment initiatives

👤 Who We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Safer Recruitment training completed

• DBS registered with the Update Service

• Strong administrative and IT skills

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to build strong relationships

• Outstanding customer service and ability to work under pressure

• Experience in a childcare setting (nursery, after-school club, school)
  

Desirable:
-Understanding of safeguarding and the role of a DSL

-Full Time-Monday-Friday, 40hrs a week

Location - Hopscotch Head Office, Fielder Driver Fareham (This role is office based NOT remote working)

-Starting Rate- £26,603.20
