Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring an experienced Sr. Medical Laboratory Scientist to work full days (6a-230pm) in Hematology/Coagulation .

As a Sr. Laboratory Scientist, duties are to perform laboratory testing and interpret test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes; recommends contingency testing. Directly responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.
Education
Bachelorās in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science
Certification/Licensure
ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification
Experience
3 years of laboratory tech experience (required)
Hematology/Coagulation experience (preferred)
