Overview:

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Sr. Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work full time days at the Sentara Greenbriar Healthplex in Chesapeake, VA and draw sites in Hampton Roads!

*May require travel to multiple sites

Overview 

Travels to various facilities to perform patient phlebotomy,monitor staff and train staff; and reassign team when necessary for coverage. Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing. 

Education 

  • High School Diploma (Required) 

 

Certification/Licensure 

  • Basic Life Support (AHA or RQI) (Required) 

  • Driver’s License (Required) 

 

Experience 

  • 2 years of laboratory experience (Required) 

  • 2 years of phlebotomy experienceRequired)
