Overview:

• Sentara Norfolk General Vascular amd Interventional Center is hiring a Senior Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Technologist

  Full time 3 (12) hour shifts per week
• Job Description

• Demonstrates strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced clinical environment. Assists leadership with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of operating center goals and objectives, customer satisfaction, and in meeting regulatory requirements. Provides technical expertise and is a resource for other team members through participation in quality control andimprovement/evaluation activities, staff development activities and daily support to team members. Performs advanced procedures in cardiovascular, electrophysiology and interventional radiology, ensuring high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic results.

  Required- RT RCIS., RCES certification and Associates Degree

  3 years experience/

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital,located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
