Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring an RN Manager for Acute Care Med-Surg or IMCU Units.
This is a full-time, dayshift opportunity.

Job Summary
The RN Manager serves as a pivotal leader responsible for the operational excellence and clinical quality of assigned nursing unit(s) on a 24-hour basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee staff scheduling, time-off approvals, and resource allocation to support department needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and offer regular feedback and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a highly effective workforce.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team engagement and retention, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource to staff, addressing concerns and assisting as needed to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices within the unit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher)
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing
- 3 yrs or more of recent Nursing Leadership in an acute care hospital setting
