Overview
Registered Dietitiansmake a healthy difference by joining our Outpatient Nutrition team at Sentara Louise Obici Hospital. Â Part Time 16 hours per week - Two 8-hour weekdays.
You will meet with individuals or groups in our outpatient clinic consulting on nutrition assessment for a wide variety of acute and chronic disease states. Examples include diabetes, bariatric surgery, sports medicine, malnutrition, GI patients.
Serves as a Sentara representative for health fairs, media outreach, and community presentations. Communicates and collaborates with providers and other members of the healthcare team for referrals and clinical diagnostic data.

Education
Bachelor's Level Degree (If Bachelor's Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.)
Certification/Licensure
BLS is required to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Registered Dietitian (RD) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Verification statements required for those candidates awaiting RD credentialing.
