As a General Maintenance Mechanicwith Sentara, you willperform general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems to include floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other items. We are looking for a candidate who has a positive attitude, is willing and eager to learn, and can be trained easily. Our ideal candidate is an individual who has a high work ethic, is dependable, reliable, team-oriented, and has patience, compassion and understanding of what it takes to work in a hospital environment around patients.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Required:
One year ofWorkexperience in general maintenance such as facility or residential maintenance, contractor, carpentry, laborer, or painter.
Certifications and Licensures Required:
Valid and Current Driver’s License
