Growing Up at Obici Childcare Center is hiring a Temporary Assistant Teacher - Full Time
The Assistant Teacher supports the Teachers and managers by helping create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. The Assistant Teacher must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assist the Teacher in implementing a quality-learning program and develop positive relationships with the children and their parents.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Prefer college level course work in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, psychology, or completion of Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
First Aid and CPR certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
Food Handlers Certificate required within the first 90 days of employment.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- College level course work in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, psychology, or completion of Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
- Food Handlers Certificate required within the first 90 days of employment
- First Aid and CPR certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
Experience
- One year previous childcare experience (Required)
