Senior Infrastructure Engineer III
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Work Arrangement: Onsite 
Duration: 3–6 Months Contract

Job Overview

Seeking aSenior Infrastructure Engineer III to provide hands-on support for enterprise infrastructure and data center environments. This role will manage, troubleshoot, maintain, and support physical, virtual, cloud, server, storage, backup, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, VMware, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and cloud environments.

  • Support enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery systems.

  • Perform system upgrades, migrations, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Provide Tier 2/3 production support and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.

  • Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and resource utilization.

  • Support hybrid Exchange environments and enterprise infrastructure tools.

  • Work with ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and knowledge articles.

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams on escalated issues and projects.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience.

  • Experience withWindows Server, Red Hat Linux, VMware, Microsoft 365/O365, and cloud technologies.

  • Experience with virtualization, storage, backup/disaster recovery, monitoring, and performance optimization.

  • Experience supportingTier 2/3 infrastructure issues in a large enterprise environment.

  • Experience with ticket-based ITSM/service management systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; experience with NetApp, NetBackup, MECM/SCCM, Ansible, Oracle Exadata, or similar enterprise technologies.

Additional: Valid driver's license required. CJIS certification is preferred or must be obtainable within 90 days.
