Senior SQL DBA & PowerShell Engineer (L3) Experience: 7-10 Years
Location: Any UST Location Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL DBA & PowerShell Engineer to manage and support enterprise SQL Server environments. The role involves database administration, performance optimization, high availability support, automation initiatives, production support, and troubleshooting of mission-critical database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL DBA activities and PowerShell-based automation, along with experience in replication technologies. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain large-scale SQL Server environments across production and non-production systems.
  • Perform advanced database administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
  • Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Support backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Lead database upgrades, migrations, patching, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform root cause analysis for major database-related incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and SQL Agent.
  • Support capacity planning and database growth forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to improve database platform performance and stability.
  • Participate in production support activities and ensure adherence to operational best practices.
