Job Description:
 
We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to support project scheduling, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for electric utility projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience and a solid understanding of project controls.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, milestones, risks, and schedule performance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project status, cost, schedule, and performance reports.
  • Analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support Project Managers with forecasting, budgeting, estimates, change orders, and project closeout.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, and tracking logs.
  • Validate project data and perform cost and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc reporting requests.
 
Required Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8+ years of related experience for external candidates.
  • CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience.
  • Experience in project controls, project management, construction management, budgeting, or forecasting.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Experience with SAP, SAP/BW, EPM, Access, Unifier, ProjectWise, or HeavyBid.
  • Knowledge of risk management and earned value analysis.
  • Utility, electric transmission/distribution, or construction project experience.
 
Compensation: 
 
The hourly rate for this position is  $80.00 per hour.
