Senior Microsoft Fabric & Azure DevOps Engineer Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric & Azure DevOps Engineer (6 to 7 years of experience) to support enterprise data integration initiatives. The role will be responsible for establishing and managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, enabling reliable DevOps operations, and supporting platform stability, security, governance, and production releases across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and manageMicrosoft Azure environments to support enterprise data platform initiatives.
  • Provision and manageMicrosoft Fabric workspaces, capacities, and associated services.
  • Configure and maintain OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, and related Fabric components.
  • Establish and manage DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD environments.
  • Define and implement deployment standards across environments.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines usingAzure DevOps.
  • Automate deployment of Microsoft Fabric artifacts, notebooks, pipelines, semantic models, and configuration assets.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for environment provisioning and configuration management.
  • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release processes.
  • Automate build, testing, deployment, and promotion activities across environments.
  • Define monitoring, ing, and observability standards for the platform.
  • Configure operational dashboards and environment monitoring capabilities.
  • Establish incident, problem, and change management procedures to ensure platform reliability.
  • Ensure availability, performance, and operational stability across environments.
  • Configure identity and access management integrations, role-based access controls, and least-privilege access mechanisms.
  • Manage service identities and secure access to platform resources.
  • Support governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Enable secure connectivity and integration between platform components and source systems.
  • Support data engineering teams in onboarding new data sources and deploying framework components.
  • Support production releases, deployment activities, rollback planning, and recovery procedures.
  • Conduct release readiness assessments and support hypercare and warranty phases.
  • Create and maintain operational runbooks, deployment guides, and support documentation.

Experience
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Platform Engineering, SRE, or Data Platform Operations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments.
  • Experience establishing CI/CD practices and managing multi-environment deployments.
