Senior Java/Python Developer

Role Overview

The Senior Java/Python Developer designs, builds, and supports secure, scalable, and resilient backend services and APIs. This role provides hands-on technical leadership across the software development lifecycle, partners with business and technology stakeholders, and advances engineering practices in microservices, cloud delivery, automation, observability, and production reliability.

Job Accountabilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable microservices, backend applications, and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Translate business and technical requirements into pragmatic solution designs, estimates, prototypes, and production-ready implementations aligned with architecture and security standards.
• Apply clean-code principles and automated testing, conduct code and design reviews, and maintain clear technical, API, and operational documentation.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, containerized workloads, monitoring, logging, alerting, and other engineering automation.
• Own application reliability by troubleshooting complex defects and incidents, performing root-cause analysis, optimizing performance, and delivering sustainable remediation.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, quality engineering, DevOps, and dependent teams to manage delivery scope, risks, dependencies, and releases.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, sharing standards and reusable patterns, evaluating emerging technologies, and driving continuous improvement across the team.
