Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Elicit, challenge, document, and validate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows
• Manage enhancement and project intake by clarifying business outcomes, sizing complexity, identifying dependencies, and preparing work for prioritization
• Analyze data, metrics, processes, and system impacts to support decisions, expose risks, and measure delivery outcomes
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations, and support teams
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies when needed, while keeping primary accountability on business analysis, intake, requirements quality, and delivery readiness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or a related technical/business field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of progressive business analysis, product analysis, systems analysis, or software delivery experience in complex enterprise environments
• 5+ years eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows for IT systems or enhancements
• Demonstrated experience managing intake, backlog readiness, prioritization support, dependency analysis, UAT coordination, and stakeholder alignment across business and technology teams
• Experience working in both Scrum and waterfall delivery environments, with strong business analysis, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, Jira story creation, Agile facilitation, ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross-functional delivery leadership experience
• Experience working in or supporting mainframe environments, including exposure to COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, APIs, legacy integrations, interfaces, and cloud modernization initiatives
• Advanced ability to turn ambiguous business needs into clear, testable, traceable requirements and decision-ready recommendations
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, executive communication, meeting leadership, and accountability management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master or Product Owner certification, such as CSPO or PSPO
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio or Lucidchart; Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting and analysis tools
• Ability to manage changing priorities, assess risks and dependencies, and maintain delivery focus across distributed teams and time zones
