Role summary:
Walmart is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Analysis and Insights to deliver accurate, data-driven analysis supporting strategic business decisions. This role involves evaluating financial data, key performance indicators, and trends to provide actionable insights and expert guidance. The analyst will support process efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement by developing and executing analytical plans, managing stakeholder relationships, and applying best practices to drive informed decision-making across the organization.
About the team:
The team leads process improvement initiatives for Upstream Facility Services, focusing on optimizing tools, equipment, PPE, and uniform management. They manage supplier relationships, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and collaboration with Field Operations, Procurement, Finance, Technology, and Safety teams. Leveraging advanced analytics and AI, the team supports proactive decision-making, cost optimization, and process standardization. Their efforts ensure service quality, cost control, and sustainable improvements throughout the tools and equipment lifecycle, significantly contributing to the organization’s operational excellence and efficiency.
What you'll do:

Analyze and validate data accuracy by comparing internal information with external sources, budgets, and actual results.
Develop and maintain financial models, key performance indicators, and metrics to support business strategies.
Provide data-driven insights and reports to internal stakeholders, ensuring consistency and clarity in communication.
Collaborate with business partners to align analytical approaches and support strategic decision-making.
Identify root causes and recommend solutions to improve processes and compliance across business areas.
Support training, documentation, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on best practices and analytical tools.

What you'll bring:

Proven expertise in data modeling and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Strong skills in business requirements documentation and root cause analysis for accurate problem resolution.
Experience with supplier performance analysis, audit, and relationship management to enhance operational efficiency.
Ability to analyze financial data, key performance indicators, and trends to deliver actionable insights.
Familiarity with demand planning and inventory management to support supply chain processes.
Certification or knowledge aligned with International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) standards.
Demonstrated capability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate complex data clearly.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
