Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and motivatedSenior Accountant. This role will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and supporting the organization’s accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and reviewgeneral ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare and analyzemonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Lead and support themonth-end close process
Prepare and postjournal entries and maintain general ledger integrity
Provide support forinternal and external audits, including documentation and schedules
Ensure compliance withGAAP and internal accounting policies
Identify and implementprocess improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting needs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of general ledger accounting experience
CPA certification preferred (or in progress)
Strong knowledge ofGAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
