In the Nordic (Finland, Denmark, Norway) region we are proud to be a trusted partner to thousands of businesses. We are now hiring a Nordic Procurement Leader to lead all procurement activities in the region.

The Role

This role owns the supplier and sourcing strategy of the region (contracts, supplier selection, rebates).

The role reports to the Region Lead Nordics, with a strong functional partnership to the Selecta Group CPO on supplier and sourcing strategy alignment.

This is a critical Extended Regional Leadership Team role responsible for converting commercial strategy into delivered Gross Margin and EBITDA through procurement leverage, supplier partnerships, logistics optimization, inventory control.

The Nordic Procurement Leader is accountable for maximizing value creation across the business. This includes ownership of procurement strategy, supplier performance and supply chain execution to deliver measurable EBITDA growth.

The Role is responsible for

•Driving gross margin expansion through procurement leverage and supplier income

•Driving efficiency and optimized costs by procurement being part of the business decision making in all direct and indirect spending.

•Ensuring product availability

•Optimizing working capital, inventory, and supply chain cost-to-serve together with supply chain and finance

•Building strategic supplier partnerships and commercial trading models

This role is a primary driver of Selecta’s margin expansion agenda and plays a central role in achieving long-term EBITDA growth targets.

Your Responsibilities

1.Procurement & Supplier Strategy

•Own Nordic procurement strategy across coffee, cold drinks, snacks, fresh food, consumables, machines, spare parts, and indirect spend.

•Develop long-term supplier strategies aligned to margin growth and consumer demand

•Lead supplier negotiations, trading agreements, and rebate structures (SPI/PPI)

2.Margin Expansion & Supplier Value Creation

•Deliver gross margin improvement

•Maximize supplier income streams (SPI, PPI, rebates, marketing contributions)

3.Transformation & Leadership

•Drive supplier consolidation and simplification agenda

•Strengthen organizational capability

•Shape the case for telemetry and data-led replenishment

KPIs include:

•Gross margin % improvement

•EBITDA contribution from procurement levers

•Payment Terms improvement

•Like-for-like revenue support via availability

•Procurement & supply chain transformation milestones

•Systems adoption (forecasting, planning tools)

•Supplier consolidation progress

Your Profile

What You Bring / Requirements

•Senior procurement leadership experience in FMCG, food service, vending, retail, or logistics environments

•Proven track record delivering measurable margin improvement and cost optimization

•Experience managing complex supplier ecosystems and commercial negotiations

•Experience operating in multi-site, high-volume, route-based businesses (preferred)

•Strong commercial acumen with direct linkage between supply chain levers and P&L outcomes

•Comfortable operating across countries through clear functional accountability and structured forums, without relying on matrix or dotted-line authority.

•Experience in transformation-led or performance-driven environments (PE-backed desirable)

•Familiarity with vending, coffee systems, or unattended retail models
