📅 Hours: 60 hours per week: Monday to Friday 7am - 7pm

We are currently recruiting a professionalSecurity Officerto deliver a high-quality security service at a prestigious financial services client site. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting employees, property, and assets while ensuring all duties are carried out in line with assignment instructions and site requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, consistently demonstrating integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness🛡️

As a Security Officer, your key responsibilities include preventing and deterring unauthorised access, monitoring alarms and CCTV systems, and carrying out both internal and external patrols. The role also involves managing access control, conducting routine equipment checks, overseeing key management, and supporting traffic and parking control where required. You will be responsible for ensuring all security procedures are followed and that all equipment is used and maintained in line with site protocols.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate 
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence
• First aid licence
• Smart and reliable
• Computer literate 
• Ability to carry out patrols
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
