🚨 Security Officer – Rochester 🚨
📍Location: Rochester, Kent - ME1 2XX
🕒Hours: 56 hours per week / Shift Times - 7-7 (Days, Nights & Weekends) Pattern 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off
💷Pay: £14.56 per hour

We are looking for areliable and professional Security Officer to join our team inRochester. This is a full-time role offering consistent hours in a secure and supportive working environment.

What Does a Security Officer Do?

Security Officers play a vital role inprotecting people, property, and information. They act as a visual deterrent,prevent unauthorized access, monitor for suspicious activity, andrespond to incidents and emergencies. This position helps ensure the safety and security of premises 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor premises to deter and detect security breaches

• Manage access control and verify ID for staff, visitors, and contractors

• Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies in a calm, effective manner

• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports

• Conduct regular internal and external security checks

• Operate CCTV and other monitoring equipment

• Enforce site-specific procedures and health & safety regulations

• Support protection of classified materials and sensitive infrastructure

• Liaise with emergency services and site management as needed

Key Requirements:

• Must be aBritish citizen by birth, or have held aBritish passport for at least 5 years

• Hold avalid SIA licence

• Must be able toobtain SC (Security Clearance)

• 5-year checkable work history is required

• Flexible to workdays, nights, and weekends
