As aĀ Security Officer, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding people, property, and information within a high‑profile corporate environment. Your visible presence, professionalism, and attention to detail will help deter risk, maintain order, and ensure the site operates safely and securely at all timesšŸ›”ļø

In this role as aĀ Security Officer, you’ll be responsible for proactive patrols, access control, monitoring security systems, and managing gatehouse operations. Acting as a key point of control, you’ll respond to incidents, follow robust security procedures, and support business continuity while maintaining a calm and authoritative approach in all situations.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
  • Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
  • Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
  • Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
  • Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
  • To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A valid SIA licence
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Prior experience as a Security Officer in the Security industry is desirable
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • A First Aid qualification would be advantageous
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
  • Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
