Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSDET / QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, API testing, UI automation, and microservices testing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise inKarate, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, and API testing, along with experience developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and microservices-based applications.
• Develop UI automation scripts usingSelenium WebDriver withCucumber/BDD frameworks.
• Perform API testing usingKarate, Postman, and other API automation tools.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and system-level test scenarios.
• Test REST APIs and microservices, including service-to-service integrations and data validation.
• ImplementBDD-based testing using Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar frameworks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects while working closely with developers and business teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated tests are integrated into the software delivery process.
• Perform performance and load testing usingJMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Develop and execute mobile application automation usingAppium.
• Work with cloud environments such asAWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Execute automated tests in containerized environments usingDocker.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in QA/SDET and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience withKarate, Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman.
• Strong knowledge ofAPI testing and automation.
• Experience withUI automation and web application testing.
• Strong experience testingmicroservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience withBDD frameworks, especially Cucumber and/or SpecFlow.
• Experience withJMeter and/or LoadRunner for performance testing.
• Experience withAppium for mobile automation testing.
• Exposure toAWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Understanding ofDocker and containerization.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or enhancing enterprise-level automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated quality gates.
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, or similar development/DevOps tools.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments.
• Strong programming/scripting skills inJava, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
