Role Overview

The specification engineer is responsible for the end-to-end specification and requirements engineering of steering system components, ensuring technical consistency, completeness and compliance with system and OEM requirements

Strong background in automotive project coordination / PMO
Proven experience in requirements engineering
Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems (ideally steering systems)
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and documentation quality
Minimum 5 years of experience

EXPERTISE

Experience in automotive development (preferred VW)
Experience in steering development (preferred)
Project management
Requirements engineering
Hardware development – wiring diagram, design and layout, EMV
Mechanic development – installation space investigation, technical drawings, system design, acoustic, stiffness
Software development – run time, architecture, trace analysis,
Verbund management from component view (preferred)

METHODS & TOOLS
