Software Engineer (x|f|m) AI

For the Process Automation Enablement department, we are looking for a Software Engineer (x|f|m) AI for Sartorius Stedim Systems GmbH, who develops high-quality software and actively shapes how modern software development is implemented within the team.
In this role, strong software engineering expertise is combined with modern technologies such as .NET (C#), TypeScript, React, and microservices architectures to build scalable and maintainable software solutions. In addition, the role drives the introduction and effective use of AI-supported development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) within the team and acts as a catalyst for best practices and innovation in this field. Possible locations are Göttingen or Guxhagen.

• Drivetheadoptionof AI-supporteddevelopmentpractices (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code),definebestpractices,coachteammembers, andcontinuouslyimproveproductivity anddevelopmentquality

• Gather,analyze, anddefinerequirementsfornew andcomplexsoftwaresolutions inalignmentwithproductmanagers,based oncustomerfeedback and inclosecollaborationwith internalproductdevelopmentteams

• Develop robust and maintainablesoftwaresystemsusingprototyping,clearsoftware design, andactiveparticipation in designreviews

• Writeclearlystructured, high-quality, and maintainable codeoptimizedforperformance andmemoryefficiency

• Createcomprehensive design,functional, andtestdocumentationtoensuresoftwarequality

• Implementautomatedtests atunit-testlevelaswellaswithinnightlyregressiontestframeworks

• Ensurethe properfunctioningofsoftware andhardwaresystems

 What willconvinceus

• Acompleteddegree incomputerscience,engineering,or acomparablenaturalsciencefield

• At least 5yearsofpracticalexperience inthedevelopmentofcommercialsoftwareproducts

• Strongdevelopmentskillswithprovenexpertise in .NET (C#),TypeScript, React, andmicroservicesarchitectures

• Solid,provenknowledgeofobject-orientedsoftwaredevelopmentcombinedwith acollaborative team-orientedmindset

• Experiencewith modernsoftwareengineeringprocesses andmethodsaswellas allphasesofthesoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle

• Experiencewithor stronginterest in AI-supportedsoftwaredevelopmenttools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) andtheireffectiveuse in a professionalenvironment

• Strongwritten and verbalcommunicationskills

• Highlevelof initiative and a strongresultsorientation

• Willingnessto supporttechnical supportteamsaswellasotherproductdevelopmentteamswhenneeded
