Senior Engineer AC/QC (x|f|m) 

We are looking for a Senior Engineer AC/QC for the Quality & Product Governance department at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH.
In this role, Spectroscopy and Advanced Process Control are shaped to drive the strategic development of a key technology area – ranging from translating complex customer and compliance requirements into implementable solutions to the scientific representation and advancement of innovative approaches.

This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen or our site in Guxhagen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

• Develop andtakeresponsibilityforthestrategyofthetechnologyarea inalignmentwithProduct and Technology Roadmaps,activelycontributingtotheirfurtherdevelopment

• Take ontechnicalleadershipforSpectroscopy andAdvancedProcess Control andtranslatecustomer,stakeholder, andcompliancerequirementsintoclearproductbacklogitemswithdefinedacceptancecriteria

• Actas acentralpointofcontactforproduct-relatedexpertise anddrivealignmentwith internalinterfaces suchasProduct Management, Architecture, and UI/UX

• Evaluatethestateoftheartwithregardtobusiness potential andtransfer relevantinsightsintoresearchaswellastechnicalorappliedprojects

• Manage andexecuteexperiments,technicaltasks, andworkpackageswithintheareaofresponsibility

• Supporttechnicaldiscussions incollaborationwithcustomers andcontributeexpertise in atargetedmanner

• Representthecompany atcustomerengagementsaswellas atscientific andindustryevents

• Actas an internalkeyopinionleader,activelysharingknowledge andfosteringthedevelopmentofscientistswithintheteamthroughcoaching andmentoring

What willconvinceus

• PhD with at least 5 years of experience or Master’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience

• Demonstrated expertise with a proven track record (publications and patents) in at least one key technology area; active participation in internal and external expert groups

• Strong communication skills when working with different teams and stakeholders

• Strong customer focus with the ability to create added value beyond immediate requests and address long-term, including implicit, needs

• Experience in coaching and mentoring as well as the ability to support the targeted development of others

• Ability to build and strengthen stable, trust-based relationships across teams

• Structured problem-solving skills and solid decision-making ability based on relevant data and contextual understanding

• Team-oriented way of working with a focus on open communication, clear expectations, and a culture of growth and innovation

• Fluent English language skills
